Άλλωστε, δεν είναι τυχαίο που λένε πως “όσο πιο παλιό είναι το δέρμα, τόσο καλύτερο είναι”. Φτιαγμένες στην Ιταλία, οι συγκεκριμένες τσάντες είναι από 100% γνήσιο δέρμα (genuine leather) και φέρουν μέσα την ειδική σφραγίδα που πιστοποιεί την γνησιότητά της. Κάθε τσάντα φέρει μέσα είτε επιπλέον λουράκι δερμάτινο, είτε επιπλέον αλυσιδάκι ώστε να μπορεί να φορεθεί χιαστί.
Συμβουλές για να φροντίζετε και να καθαρίζετε τις δερμάτινες τσάντες σας.
- Όσο πιο γρήγορα αντιμετωπίσετε τον επίμονο λεκέ, τόσο πιο πιθανό είναι να αφαιρεθεί. Εφαρμόστε μια μαλακή πετσέτα ή ένα πανί για να αφαιρέσετε άμμο, λάσπη, σκόνη κ.λπ. πριν χρησιμοποιήσετε οποιοδήποτε καθαριστικό δέρματος. Για να βεβαιωθείτε ότι το καθαριστικό που χρησιμοποιείτε είναι το κατάλληλο, δοκιμάζετε πάντα πρώτα το προϊόν σε μη ορατή τοποθεσία. Το νερό δεν είναι ο καλύτερος σύμμαχός σας.
- Καλό είναι να εφαρμόσετε ένα αδιαβροχοποιητικό διάλυμα από δέρμα για να προστατεύσετε τη δερμάτινη τσάντα σας από το νερό. Ένα μικρό στρώμα κεριού μέλισσας πρέπει να εφαρμοστεί στις δερμάτινες τσάντες με λείο φινίρισμα. Αυτό είναι απαραίτητο και σημαντικό σε περιόδους βροχής, αλλά και ως συχνή συντήρηση εάν αισθάνεστε ότι το προηγούμενο προστατευτικό στρώμα έχει μειωθεί. Μια βούρτσα παπουτσιών ή μια οδοντόβουρτσα μεμαλακές τρίχες είναι σωστή επιλογή για να χρησιμοποιήσετε το κερί μέλισσας και οποιαδήποτε άλλη κερωμένη ουσία.
- Ενημερωθείτε πριν αγοράσετε και χρησιμοποιήσετε οποιοδήποτε προϊόν, ειδικά αν έχει ανοιχτό τόνο, για να βεβαιωθείτε ότι δεν επηρεάζει το χρώμα του δέρματος. Για να δείτε πώς λειτουργεί το προϊόν, δοκιμάστε το σε ένα μη ορατό τμήμα της τσάντας. Αφήστε το καθαριστικό να στεγνώσει πλήρως, πριν το χρησιμοποιήσετε ξανά μετά την εφαρμογή της στη δερμάτινη τσάντα σας.
- Όταν αποφασίσετε να πλύνετε τη δερμάτινη τσάντα σας, χρησιμοποιήστε υγρό λευκό σαπούνι. Ρίξτε περίπου 1/4 φλιτζάνι υγρό σαπούνι στο πλυντήριο. Εάν το μηχάνημά σας έχει κύκλο πλυσίματος στο χέρι, ρυθμίστε το σε αυτήν τη ρύθμιση. Αν όχι, τότε πλύνετε σε ένα ευαίσθητο πρόγραμμα πλύσης. Μπορείτε επίσης να βάλετε την τσάντα σας σε μια υφασμάτινη τσάντα αν θέλετε. Όταν ολοκληρωθεί ο κύκλος, μπορείτε να βάλετε την τσάντα στο στεγνωτήριο στη χαμηλότερη θερμοκρασία. Εάν δεν έχετε στεγνωτήριο, μπορείτε να την κρεμάσετε έξω στον ήλιο. Μόλις στεγνώσει τελείως η τσάντα σας, μπορείτε να εφαρμόσετε κάποιο δερμάτινο προστατευτικό.
